Installation Instructions are included in the download. The octave selectors go way up and way down for a nice range of octaves. Almost all modes can utilize this, so it is always present. The Digitakt has no session mode like Ableton Live or anything close. But I have designed something that can be utilized to give you quick access to your patterns. The NOTE and DEVICES buttons give you 2 slots for assigning “instruments” or “control surfaces” for performance quick changes. I will use the terms Modes and Instruments interchangeably. USER is very important for changing the Modes/Instruments, transposing the key in many modes, and more. SHIFT is used for various things. A very exciting performance tool. See below for different MIDI configuration options. If just using LPP as the master clock, Hit the CLICK pad, then press-hold-release the green button on/off to set quarternote length. 2nd row Blue and Yellow raise and lower the tempo by increments. Then DigiPad (LPP) acts as master clock. (See video below or the text below that for more instructions) PLEASE NOTE: while passable, the LPP as master clock is not solid based on non-submillisecond timing. Its advisable to use an external clock for best results. Then the bottom row plays 1/8th note fills on digitakt tracks 1-8 2nd row plays 1/12th note fills (slower triplet) 3rd row plays 1/16th note fills 4th row plays 1/24th note fills (triplet) 5th row plays 1/32nd notes 6th row plays 1/64th notes (whoa! fast!!)
